230 million turnover in 2023, four production sites and eight branches around the world for a total of over one thousand and 400 employees. These, in short, are the credentials with which the Austrian group Aspöck Systems presents itself, having been involved in the lighting sector for towed vehicles and operating machines for over 45 years and today boasting a product catalog of over 160 pages within which it is practically impossible not to find the most suitable lighting system to equip any trailer or any industrial or agricultural machine. It should be underlined that the possibility of choice offered by the Group to its customers is not only characterized in quantitative terms but rather characterized by extremely high quality standards and production methodologies aligned with the most current trends aimed at environmental protection. In terms of quality, all products comply with the international certification standards Iso 9001:2015, Iatf 16949 and Iso 14001 and that all production processes are planned, introduced and monitored by a specific management system operating in such a way as to bring possible production to that concept of “zero defects at the end of the line” which all the most modern manufacturing companies aspire to.
This, as mentioned, with the utmost respect for the environment, as confirmed by the advanced investments to minimize the impact that the production sites have on the areas dedicated to them through a calibrated and responsible use of the available resources. An example in this sense is the covering of solar paving with photovoltaic panels, a solution also pursued during the renovation phase of the headquarters of the Group’s Italian branch, located near Milan and called Pagg Aspöck as it dates back to a company specialized in the marketing of components electric vehicles for industrial vehicles founded in 1984 and called “Pagg”.
In 2003, this organization then became part of the Aspöck Systems group, initially proposing itself only as a sales and distribution structure for finished products and then also as a production body for pre-assembled kits whose design and initial development always arises from the collaboration between the Pagg Aspöck technicians and those of the customer. In practice, the kits allow trailer and machine manufacturers to concentrate their attention on their respective products knowing that the lighting components will only need to be mechanically installed on board both at the level of lighting units and wiring. An offer of the “assemble, connect and go” type therefore, but which does not exclude the possibility of customizing the optical groups in terms of brand and liveries if necessary as well as, product volumes permitting, also in terms of design. The customization of the design, however, is one of the least popular requests as all the products are born from the work of designers operating in the Aspöck Systems style centers located in Austria and Portugal, areas in which the designers work side by side with technicians and testers to give life to products that are not only pleasing to the eye, but also capable of resisting the most stressful environmental aggressions.
Obviously, these are also the two most recent Pagg Aspöck innovations, the multifunction light clusters “Lux Led II” and “Midled II”, the former intended for front installations and the latter for rear ones. In both cases these are systems approved for road traffic, they boast EMC Iso 13766 electromagnetic compatibility standards, they are protected from dust and water infiltration in IP 6K9K class, they are multivoltage between nine and 32 volts and, as mentioned, they are multifunction , in the sense that “Lux Led II” can act as a high beam, low beam and direction indicator light as well as a daytime light, while “Midled II” integrates the neon effect position light, stop light, reverse gear and rear fog light. , the license plate light, the reflective reflector and the direction indicator. All in one therefore and with minimal energy absorption as the groups are based on LEDs.
